SuperReading — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application SuperReading (also published as “Reading Master”; Google Play package name com.ben.superreading, Apple App Store app “SuperReading”) and the website readingmaster.app, developed and operated by the SuperReading team (“we”, the developer). SuperReading is an English reading tool. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

What we collect

• Account email. Creating an account requires an email address and a password (stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text). Your email identifies your account and lets us send sign-up and password-reset codes.
• AI usage. The number of AI requests you make, used to apply the free daily allowance and operate the service. Premium status is tied to your account.
• Text you send to AI features. When you use “Ask AI” or the reading companion, the passage or question you submit is sent to our server and our AI provider to generate a reply. It is not used to identify you or for advertising.

Reading and the dictionary work without an account; only AI features require sign-in. We do not collect your name, contacts, location, or photos, show ads, or track you across other apps.

Third parties

AI replies are generated by a third-party AI provider (DeepSeek); the text you submit is processed by that provider to produce a reply. Sign-up and reset emails are delivered via Resend. Subscriptions and payments are handled by Apple; we never see your payment details.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in the app: Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, email, premium record, and AI usage from our servers. You may also email privacy@readingmaster.app to request deletion.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
